I have a 2007 Macbook 13.3" laptop with a dead battery. I'd like to order a new battery - because my daughter uses the Macbook. I can't bring myself to spend $130+ for the Apple branded battery - the laptop isn't worth that much by itself.

I see that powerbookmedic sells batteries. They sell authentic apple batteries in used condition. Their website indicates that these batteries have an 80% or better battery life.

Has anyone purchased a battery from powerbookmedic?

I strongly recommenced only buying a replacement laptop battery from the OEM. Never buy a used or third party battery.
