Got my first iPad yesterday and am loving it so far.

Anyone tell me if there are any option to charge an iPad while syncing. I did not know it didn't charge by default. Just used to the iPhone. I have 2 powered usb adapters, but I guess they don't have enough juice. What units will work?

I guess you have an imac. It seems that the isb pprt doesn't give enough juice for tje ipad. It's normal i have the same "problem"

If you have a recent Mac, it will charge the device whilst syncing, but most (all?) windows machines struggle, as do older macs. The issue is that the iPad needs 10w to charge properly, which is 4 times the power from a standard USB port.
Having said that, the iPad will charge when the screen is off on any USB port (although slower than through a high powered one). Of course, you can't see that because as soon as you put the screen on, it switches to "Not Charging" ;)

Working on an xp laptop so I guess I am out. Are there any USB hubs that have the needed 10v?
