Hope this is the right place for this one.
I'm in UK and have a 300w portable powerpack (inverter). I plug my macbook pro into it directly and it's not getting enough power (green light on magsafe goes on and of). I'm no electrician but is that because the power source is not up to the job? Says 1.5A on the mac power adaptor. Does that mean that it needs 1.5x240 of power? i.e. well over 300w.
Seems a bit excessive to me....
