Does anybody have any experience using these? Our offices are in a Campus like area. All electricity is on one board located outside of one of the buildings. I need to go 500 feet with this, already tried wireless with a couple of booster antenna and that did not work as well as a telephone modem does. (very slow)
I think it is hit and miss like wireless, you will not know if it works until you spend money to purchase the equipment and then set it up and find out one way or the other. If I used regular Ethernet I'd need a repeater and I know nothing about them, also cannot find much information about them. Now when I need anything on one computer I have, I drag a hard disk back and forth from the main building.
