Northeast Indiana, baby!
does anybody know the maximum possible storage capacity of the dual processor 2.7GHz G5? It's not on Apple's website in their specifications thing. I figured it's either the same (low) 500GB of the original or the 1TB in the new one, or somewhere in between.

on a related note, shouldn't it theoretically be however many gigabytes you can gain from two drives no matter what? or is there some other architecture limitation that doesn't allow it any more than the amount it specifies.

thanks for your help

The storage capacity is huge, something like 16TB or more. Its just that there are only 2 hard drive bays and the largest drive made to date is the 500gb so they say its upgradeable to 1TB. As drives get bigger that will dicate your storage capacity.
