Hey people.

I have a Sawtooth PowerMac... which has no modem (the top of the range machine at the time didn't ship with one!!!!).

I use it for broadband through internet, but will soon only have dial-up.

I have an original airport base station though (but no airport card in the powermac), is it possible to connect to the basestation over ethernet, and use that to dial up to the modem in the base station?

HELP!

Huh - Interesting.

I know the Airport works as a NAT, but maybe just for the wireless connection - I used an Airport hooked to a network that had internet connection, and I could access the Airport via Wireless or Wire - so I think you could configure it to dial via Wire. I don't know if it will act as a NAT to the Wire however. I guess there is only one way to find out, and that's to try it?
