i was thinking getting a G3 B&W as one of my Mac options it does have firewire so i know Tiger will work so question is what is the MAX RAM i can use? this is a PCI only system is there any PCI Graphics cards with DVI that will work on this computer? i have plenty RAM to up it with so im just wondering what the max is its got 4 slots PC100 i have several stick of 256MB PC100 any way this G3 can support 1GB?

that still does not tell me everything i wanna no

It answers all the questions you shouldn't have asked.
10.4.11 is the maximum os (listed in the max os section)
2 FireWire ports (listed in the ports and connectivity section)
Maximum ram is 1gb (listed in the maximum ram section)
The site indicates a pic graphics card was included with the system. This is the only question you had that was not specifically answered. A quick google search leads me to believe there are no dvi cards that would work in a b&w g3.

I will be the first to admit that jbarley's response may have been flippant or curt, but we see posts all the time asking things that have been gone over repeatedly or are answered in a FAQ or easily with a google search.

Short of taking you by the hand and pointing out the information for you, it pretty much covers it. Plus it should give you some idea as to how to find the information you seek on the web.
Unless that is, you still insist as you stated on another forum, "it's easier to ask on the forum then search for it yourself."

it is easier because whenever i search google i get results that have nothing to do with what im searching or the results do not tell me the answers i am looking for

Google-foo

Next time I would try: " Powermac B&W G3 specs ", at least for me the first hits where everymac.com and lowendmac.com as well as a smattering of other good sites.

You could have easily found out if the machine had FireWire or not, and found out everything else that you wanted to know about it on the very first linked page of Google results.

It isn't hard to Google. It is hard to deal with laziness.

Low end

Leo I would suggest heading over to low end Mac dot com to learn about the macs you are asking about. With the amount of threads you have you seem quite excited with no direction, you will find more info than you ever wanted there about every Mac made.

Good luck.
