I just ordered a powermac g3 for use as a webserver. It is a 350mhz with 256mb of ram. It has panther on it. Quick question: What kind of video card does it have, VGA,DVI,or something other?

I don't think the ADC connectors came until the 2nd gen of G4's.

So probably a PCI version of the ATi Rage 128 (16 MB VRAM) with single VGA.

You can get DVI on it...
Either the newer (but definitely not worth the $$$ for an old G3) ATi Radeon 9200 Mac, or
.. or the nostalgic 3Dfx Voodoo 5500 card.. haha. But that's an old (but superb!!) card for Mac OS 9 only.

One word of advice: try getting more RAM into that Mac of you're planning to use it as a Server.
512 MB is the least amount you should give it.
