PowerMac G4 1.42DP $250?

I went to an office auction and purchased:

PowerMac G4 1.42ghzDP for 250.00
80GB, 1.5GB RAM

did i get a good deal or not?

& at the moment I use a 500mhz Dual G4 Powermac with only 512mb ram, and it works not extremely fast but it isn't really slow.

Should I keep the PowerMac 1.42 and use it till it dies or what

Pretty good deal. In '05 I got a 300Mhz G3 for about the same price

Got mine a few weeks ago with 120gb HD and 1gb ram for $300 that included a nice 19" monitor though so I would say you did alright http://mac2sell.net say mine is worth $520.
