PowerMac G4 400 as Class Web Server

I teach/run an iMac Lab (20 last generation whites and 16 new generation Alum) at a high school. We have an xServe on order to act as open directory and file server. However, I also need a web server. The school doesn't allow class/teacher web sites on through the school domain/server. My budget is nonexistent after purchasing the xServe. All I have is a PowerMac G4 400, 1 GB RAM. Will this handle the load for a class web site for multimedia design? It could have up to 40 people hitting it at once.
