Hi,

i've jus acquired a powermac G4, it's got a 400Mhz processor and 768Mb of ram, and the dreaded PCI graphics card,

i want to upgrade it but finding the parts to fit it is becoming a pain, so

i was wondering what difference theyre is between the dual core motherboard that comes with a MDD and quicksilver case and the Yikes Board in mine, would the MDD one fit, or am i barking lmao

any help would be great and hints at price or places to look would be much appreciated, im in england FYI :D

It could be made to fit I'm sure, but if you're planning on just taking out the old MB and sliding the new one in, forget it. They're VERY different computers even though the cases on the outside are similar. You'd have to do some serious case modification to get it all in there. I'm not even sure the heatsink from the the MDD is going to fit in the Yikes case.
