I have seven PowerMac G4 MDD's with this problem. They will turn on and boot up right after I plug them in, but if I shut them off and try to boot up again they most commonly do not. Once I did get one of them to boot up a second time, but otherwise they wont boot up more than once.

I can reset them by unplugging them for 10 seconds and plugging them back in, then they will boot once more. But anytime after that, they will most likely not boot again.

Specs.
PowerMac G4.
Mirrored Disc Drive Model.
Dual 867 MHz PowerPC G4 w/ 1MB L3 cache per processor.
Varying RAM (between 512MB and 2GB in each Mac).
Fresh install of OS X 10.4.

Possibly a new power supply?
