PowerMac G4 USB 2.0 addition

Bought a usb 2.0 card for my powermac, but can't get it to run. Says I need to add apples usb card adapter, found it, but seems to not install. No change in the directory showing the added usb stuff.'

Also doesn't show up under the system, but box says it is apple os x ready.

Anyone done this have some pointers?

It is possible, should need apples own card

As smurffy say more specifics would be nice.

When you bought the card it should have come with a CD with the required drivers on. Follow the installation instructions and it should work on the next restart.

I had to install a USB2.0 card when the wife bought a Gen5 Video iPod, had no trouble. The comp is a PowerMac G4 DP500MHz.

Sorry, typed that trying to remember as much as I could.
Trying to install on a dp 450.
So the card is a macsense UP-400 card. Says its supports OS X. Instructions tell me first install apples usb adapter card extension version 1.2 or higher.

Only thing I could find was usb card support 1.4.1 and it tries to install in os9. It also doesn't show up under device volumes, says it is empty.

Any ideas?
