powermac g5 1.6ghz hard drive problem ?

first off i apologize but i am a newbee to this forum so first and foremost i apologize for my first post to be such a tard question , i have had my g5 for quite some time now and hadnt had any complains till today, i upgraded a new western digital hd a 160 gb to that matter and my g5 is only reading 110 , i dont understand , can someone help me configure this out , i would love to get a bigger drive but not sure what is the max space on the hd on these machines anyoen willing to help feel free to email me please or pm me
