Not Really.
If you want to play modern games you pretty much need an Intel mac. Same goes for AVCHD video editing, or anything involving more than a single HD stream really. (If By "Intense" you mean iMovie and by video games you mean MineCraft however, a PowerMac G5 may be suitable for your needs).

I know you cant normally get snow leopard on it, But is there a hack to get it?
i would say if you are looking to play games, then just get a pc. it'll be cheaper and you can do video editing on it. I dont even think there are any games on PowerPc systems. stream 4sure does not work on powerpc. Plus if u get a pc u have unlimited upgrades.

yea its a good deal if u plan on using it for music. but not video editing. if u are serious about video editing, you NEED an intel computer (either pc or mac)
so i would think about this a bit more, because powerpc cant even open mts or avchd. those REQUIRE intel machine.
I went there that 197 is a bare machine..I took it to the specs my G5 has and it's $600 I have about $300 in mine.
