Is there talk of PM's being moved over to the Intel CPUs yet? If so, what sort of ETA would we be looking at, as I'm not sure wether or not to buy a PPC one now, as I'm quite happy with my PowerBook, but unsure of if Intel version (if to be released) would be comparisable to the PPC version (price wise, etc)

Yes. :)

In fact, it's most probable that the Power name will be dropped. I think I read somewhere here that Jobs intends to drop the "Power" name on all lines. Most likely, since the name Mac Pro has been copyrighted in Australia, that it's the successor to the PowerMac.;)
