Powermac "Sawtooth" 500mhz logic board interchangeable with Cube?

Is a Powermac G4's logic board interchangeable with a Cube? I mean the PM 500mhz single processor? I heard it was or read it was, somewhere. If so, I can probably fix up a cube I have with shot usb ports with it? Anyone know?

Logic board? No. Processor? Maybe. As long as its got a 100Mhz bus speed.

Or are you asking about the processor (not the logic board)?

If so... I don't think so. All the processor upgrades that I've seen are specific for the small form factor of the cube.

But the upgrade for the cube is different. More cache? Less cache? Different size? No idea.

Yes.... if you mean the processor..... The bus speed is the same and I have Done it with My G4 Cube and My G4 Sawtooth with no problems. They have been switched for more than 4 years.
