PowerMac to PowerBook firewire problems.

When i use Target Disk mode with FireWire to recognise the PowerMac G4 on my PowerBook as a Harddrive, it freezes when i drag a file onto it, or when i double click to view the content of the HD.

Anyone know why ?

This has never worked for me, all i want to do is drag some files onto the PowerMac as back-ups.

After trying to Verify and Repair the PowerMac's HD i get these messages:

After Verifying:

Verifying volume “PowerMac 60”
Verify volume failed with error Could not unmount disk (-10000)


0 volumes checked
0 HFS volumes verified
1 volume not checked



After Repairing:

Repairing disk for “PowerMac 60”
Repairing disk failed with error Could not unmount disk (-10000)


Repair attempted on 0 volumes
0 HFS volumes repaired
