I am very interested to buy a AppleCinemaDisplay 20Pol but I‘m afraid my PowerMacG5 with a GeForce FX 5200 is not a good video card for that kind of a high resolution display. What you guys think about that? Bye.

It will be absolutely fine. The end. Just don't go trying to hook up 2 30" ACDs with that lack-luster card, or you'll be disappointed.

With ease...!

Even a Mac mini can drive a 23" ACD!

It's just that playing heavy 3D games (Doom 3, COD 2 etc.) will give the framerates a tough time running @ high resolution.
But in normal everyday use, it'll be fine.

I use my macbook and its lack of a dedicated graphics card with my my 23" ACD as a second display everyday without a problem! My old G4 PBook'd fan would blow the whole time, but that's not the case with the macbook at all. Expose is a tad choppy but still perfectly usable.

My G5 at home, and probably every G5, runs an ACD flawlessly.
