okay so on the powermat website it says it has a battery door adapter for the iphone, like the palm pre, or blackberry. but the iphones back is not (easily) removable. so how do they do this?

heres the link and if you dont wanna take the time to look at the link heres the picture

I understand what it does but what's the point if I have to plug their adapter into my phone?

exactly, but its a case that you put on your phone so it makes it easier... sort of. but what im wondering is, how they would do it with the battery door?

They can't, their website is just wrong.

well it is a pretty big mistake, and im pretty sure they would notice that its a wrong, because its been like that since the first time i went to the website (2 months ago).

does any one have any other ideas?

is it possible that apple could allow powermat to add the necessary components in the iphone? while still honoring the warranty? inside of the back casing so it doesn't look any different but it could use the powermat technologies
