Hi there,

I've got a mid 2014 rMBP and in the past I'm sure power nap on battery worked fine for me.

I'm running OS X 10.11.1, tried 10.11.2 beta 1 as well, and noticed that power nap on battery isn't working anymore. As a test I left mail open put the rMBP to sleep at 11PM, I then initiated a "Find my Mac" to email when found and the Mac never periodically checked for emails coming in over night nor did Find My Mac find it till I woke it from sleep this morning. I had Mail and Notes open..

Looking at wake events:
Oct 30 02:49:55 sakura kernel[0] <Notice>: Wake reason: EC.SleepTimer (SleepTimer)
Oct 30 06:33:35 sakura kernel[0] <Notice>: Wake reason: EC.PME (User)

As you can see nothing happens till 2:49AM then nothing till I wake it up myself at 6:33AM

I definitely have power nap ticked under battery.

Have tried PRAM and SMC reset, also installing 10.11.1 over the top of my existing installation.

On AC power nap seems to work ok.

Thoughts?
