PowerPC G5 hard drive advice

Hi there,
I have a G5 with 2.5 dual, and I need help regarding...
1.) The Mac OSX disk is 150GB and it's getting full, now it's only 10GB remaining.
2.) I have another drive which is 500GB and I want to use it as my system (boot) disk
3.) Can I use 1.5TB to replace the 500GB and the 500GB to replace the 150GB?
Any advice/help regarding replacing the drives? and where can I buy a NOT SO expensive 1.5TB HDD.

With Macs, you get to choose which hard drive is the startup drive in System Prefs. So yes, you can easily do all the things you want to do.
Shop around for the best deal on a new drive. Places I can think of to check:

www.tigerdirect.com
(you want a "SATA" drive, not PATA or ATA or IDE)
