Hmm.. I love seeing my favourite computers in videos/films/shows so I decided to start this thread! We already share wallpapers and About this Mac dialogues so why not?

Post pics of frames in which a PowerPC computer appears (anything from the earliest ones to a PMG5 quad if ya can identify it from a Mac Pro).

Please post where ya saw it and what Mac model is shown.

I remember seeing a PowerMac on Guiding Light (aka, the longest human narrative in history). I wish I would have screen shotted that. :(

However, I also wish we'd see more iMac G4's even today. That design, I think, could hold up even today.

Never seen an iMac G4 irl :/ Only PPC mac I've seen is my Sawtooth irl.

I was just about to post that.

There's a load in The West Wing. As much as I'd love to rewatch it all and grab Toby's PowerBook history (G3 and TiBook mainly) I don't have the spare time right now.

2 minutes on YouTube got me this :

That episode is from the week OS X launched, and Josh normally used a generic beige desktop PC. Odds are good that it was product placement.

Those old colorful iMacs that were all over everywhere when I was in schools in the late 90's - 2010 or so

They are in so many movies and shows, or referenced in some way with a model that kind of looks like it. I'm pretty sure there are even websites that cover it lol, Apple must have been dropping all kinds of money I assume or maybe it just became a fad for a while

One from Men in Black two {I think }

It was a pop culture thing really. I worked in a computer superstore at that time, and we had some people in from the local TV network and independent program makers wanting information on iMacs and iBooks with a view to purchasing them for use on programmes in production.
