Hi all,

New poster here. Longtime Apple fan and I'm very, VERY excited about all this unlocking going on and the amount of help and the determination with which people seem to be going about making this phone as open to use as possible is nothing short of amazing.

With that said, wanted to ask if anyone knew whether the iUnlock solution (the GUI package, namely) worked fine on PowerPC computers? I read some rumblings about some iPhone hacking/modding apps not working on PowerPCs but I can't remember if that was in reference to iUnlock or something else. EDIT: I'm aware that the program runs on the phone but I haven't really looked into the instructions and other required apps 100%, when I get the phone I'm planning on using the modmyiphone.com method but it was there that I saw some apps that have to be first run on the computer--I think Independence is my main concern.

The reason I ask is because today I plan on taking the plunge and getting this thing and really this is the last hurdle I wanted to address before going to the store.

Thanks for your help in advance.
