So just for the hell of it, I wanted to load up some old YouTube pages from 2010 and the same page on the current version. Just as I though, the 2010 was much snappier. I know it's not really the entire YT site, but it's just so much lighter compared to the now bloated google+ hell hole we have now. My G5 didn't struggle at all on the old YouTube pages and played the video perfectly. Really miss the 2010 internet era. Really was a cool time before all websites just got bloated and started to look the same. Here's some snapshots.
[doublepost=1474892319][/doublepost]Also, out of curiosity, which YouTube layout do you prefer? I prefer the 2010 era layout. It's just so much more vibrant and creative, and not to mention the creativity you could have on your own channel.

I still remember the 2009 YouTube layout. YouTube has progressed a lot since then but I certainly wouldn't mind a modernized version of that UI.
 
When Google integrated it's services with Youtube it become a nightmare to manage accounts if you wanted your email & Youtube to remain separate.
I'm not fussy on layouts, I'd just like a straight forward interface...and not to be bombarded with recommended videos that'd I'd never choose to watch unless forced at gunpoint.
