ok so i downloaded a recent power point for chemistry how do i

A: get that powerpoint onto my iphone

B: what app do i have to download to view the powerpoint doc.

my iphone is also jailbroken im not sure if there is an app on there for viewing powerpoint..and if not what app store app do i have to get to view it?

I believe DataCase, File Magnet, and Files (all on the App Store) will allow you to copy over the PowerPoint file and view it (but not edit it) on the iPhone.

do you have to hook the iphone up to the computer?

Yes, programs such as FileMagnet do require you to hook it up the computer in some way or another whether it be wirelessly or physically. You could also try emailing it to your self as an attachment which should work as long as you can stand downloading it. I think this is a better option since you wouldn't have to spend any money on it.

Those programs only offer wireless connection. Connecting to the iPhone physically (through the usb cable) is not allowed with the SDK.

BTW, is there any jailbreak apps that allow file transfer with the iPhone over the USB cable? If so, it might be worth it for me to jailbreak.

I'm not sure what you want to do with the powerpoint file on your iPhone but if you email it to yourself as an attachment you will be able to read it.

Oh, just saw that you are using a jailbroken phone - maybe it won't work

Yes Jailbroke phones allow ssh access.
Think FileViewer will allow you to access those ssh'd files.

Three options

A) e-mail file to yourself, it's free

B) get a file management program from the app store

C) jailbreak phone
