So with the standard versions powerpoint or keynote, you can type in the notes sections during lectures while viewing the PPT, PDF, etc. I haven't found an app that let's you do exactly this on the iPad, and was hoping someone here had found one. I'm not looking to annotate, write on top of the PDF, etc.
 
I'm also looking for something similar to as my prof posts all the lectures on powerpoint and i have to open them in keynote and she adds notes as she goes so this would be awesome.

You can create/edit presenter notes in Keynote, though you can't see the notes and the slide (while editing) at the same time.
