I have a M4 iPad Pro 13 inch. Whenever I am working on a presentation on power point , when switch to another app like safari or files to look at a reference or copy and image , when I come to back to the power point presentation , the app brings me back to the main slide . I then have to scroll down all the way to the slide I was working on . I thought this was a ram issue but it does not happen on my 6 year old iMac which has the same amount of RAM. I closed all the apps in the background except power point and safari but this still happens when I switch between apps frequently .Has anyone else noticed this ? Is this a limitation of the iPad OS ? Or is this something to do with the PowerPoint app? This does not happen in keynote when doing presentations though even when I have multiple apps running in the background

it is powerpoint-specific. If you can switch to Keynote - it is IMHO in any case the better presentation program. Runs circles around PP 😃

Thanks . So looks like I will have to switch to keynote to avoid this issue. I was very comfortable using keynote earlier , but some meetings prefer you to email the ppt in advance and was worried about compatibility issues

I feel you - personally I convinced everyone in my work environment, that a PDF works for that too. 😁
