1. Go to File
2. Print
3. PDF Tab, probably on bottom left side of dialog box that comes up
4. Choose Save as PDF
5. Save like you normally would
 
I tried what Big Prince suggested, but the document saved as a pdf has nothing on it except the background.

It is a very big document including photos and tables, is this making it impossible to convert in this way.
 
Gotta love how that Microsoft Mac Team makes such fine and consistent software. Yeesh.

I thought the whole print-to-pdf system was part of OS X?
At any rate, it's always worked fine for me, and a really useful feature.

if you should be able to print correctly, you should be able to print to pdf this way. i have in the past done this with very very large pdf without any problems.

i'm inclined to think there's something you didn't do right

did you do Print - PDF - Save as PDF (and not as anything else?)
