I keep getting these in ~/Library/Logs that are as big as 5MBs. Should I ignore them? And how do I prevent them from creating if it's just logs I don't need?

I've got the same problem; huge logs from powerstats. I don't see a process by that name. I suspect it's from BOINC which is an application that runs various projects during idle, like the SETI thing. It seemed to be broken with permission problems, so I uninstalled it. I'll see if that stops it. If you look at the top of the log it may give you a hint as to what generated the log.

Is this what you guys are talking about?

I'm having trouble with Spotlight indexing some Evernote stuff and have been looking around to see what might be the issue... somehow got here. How do I fix this? Is there some 'powerstat' app or something I need to uninstall? Because I can't find it anywhere on my system..
