PPC app always crashes on Rosetta

What to do with a Java based PPC application that was originally designed for Mac OS X 10.3.x which always crashes on Rosetta (10.6.8) after specific tasks? (There's no Intel version available)

What specific application do you talk about and what does the crash report say? Does it crash upon startup or during usage?

There's no crash report. It closes itself after doing specific tasks, but it starts up normally.

Yes.

It uses 3D rendering. I don't think a VM would be powerful enough. And I would like not to use Windows.

Maybe there's another PPC emulator?

If it is already translated via Java and then Rosetta, it is already not that "powerful".

I was referring to the update, that broke Rosetta.
And how should I know, that you run the latest updates? Many don't, thus my question.

Maybe check the Console for hints.

Yes, but they fixed it, right?! I installed Snow Leopard (including all updates) yesterday on my external drive.

I'll check it later. I'm not on my MacBook right now.

Is Maestro the name of the application, that Mars Rover 3 D Java app?
I couldn't find a working download, thus I couldn't test it. Do you have any working links?
