OK I have just stumped up for a new 2.8ghz iMac to replace the my aging white G5 model,
When I ran Migration assistant, (plugged in the FW400 Cable and Booted the PPC in Target mode), the process bar indicated that the time to completion would be 17hours, now with no cancel option, I am committed to letting to run over night,
I just wanted to know if this length of time is normal, There was arround 200GB on the G5 box, mainly itunes (apple lossless) iphoto library, and a bunch of Video_TS folders,
Has any one else any examples of long migration times
