Hi there,

I built my CV with MS Power Point for Mac (version 16.14.1), using High Sierra (16.14.1).

When I am saving the pptx file as a PDF, everything looks perfect (on my mac).

> But when I opened the same PDF file with a windows laptop, graphics looked weird (e.g. some lines were a lot thicker etc.)

Does anybody have an idea how to maybe convert the file in a different way? Or what is the reason behind it?

I would really appreciate your help, as it is such an important document. I always thought PDF files would look the same under iOS and Windows, once they are created.

Thank you,

Matthias

My guess is the PDF reader interprets the files differently. Seems everyone and their mother has their own PDF reader for every platform. Y'all might wanna try using Acrobat Reader on both machines to get more consistent results. PDF files are a set of postscript instructions + media/text content.
