State of Denial
To make a long story short, I need to connect via VPN using PPTP. Problem: none of the options for PPTP are present. L2TP is fine, but I can't use it for this connection. System Preferences Help describes exactly how to set up a PPTP connection, but when I get to Internet Connect, there is no PPTP tab, just L2TP. The VPN menu extra similarly shows no PPTP. In fact, except for the Help docs, I can't find anything at all about it on my system. I know it had it, at least under Panther, but I haven't tried to use it since I upgraded to Tiger. I do have the Cisco VPN client installed for other reasons, but that shouldn't interfere since it's just L2TP over UDP with group authentication. Anyone?
