My PRAM battery has just gone on my 12" Powerbook G4,

I was planning on selling it near the end of the year and basically I was wondering whether I should bother selling? I was quoted as a £70 ($140) replacement not including parts (just labour)

I can survive with the system clock resetting itself everytime I turn off but I can't exactly leave it off the description when I sell it...

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Yea, there is no PRAM battery. Even if there was, it would only be a 123 (size) battery or a CR-2032. If I were you, I'd go through the process to reset the PMU, because it seems like there is something wrong with it.

Uhm - the 12" powerbook doesn't have a PRAM battery - it relies on the main system battery for that function.

Yeh this is what I thought but another member on here persuaded me that it fif have one and I rang up a shop and they agreed with me but maybe they just thought I was stupid

Ill search for how to reset the PMU but in the mean time would someone say it here?

Also would having my battery out for extended periods of time cause this aswell?

Thanks
