So my 2017 MBA - just 5 years old when Ventura comes out - won't be capable of running the OS? Not even a hobbled version - as is the case with Monterey now.
I kinda figured Apple would pick up the pace to obsolescence with their Macs once Silicon was announced - guess I was right. They really need to build computers that don't last longer than their OSs...

To add insult to injury, the MBA 2017 has been sold until mid 2019. So you're getting roughly 3 years of support since end of sales.
Simply disgusting behavior from Apple's side.
