Pre-edited DV strait to iDVD with menu's?

Does anybody know of a way I can load videos I have already edited from my camera to iDVD and allow me to make a menu? When I reload it into iMovie it breaks up all the frames and sorts them by date. All I am trying to do is make my old movies into DVD's.

Can't you just import the files into iDVD?

I have them all on mini DV tapes and the only way I can think to import them is through iMovie. Thats when they get all jumbled up and I have to go through and put the clips back in order.

What about One Step DVD in iDVD?

That would be perfect but it won't allow me to make menu's for the DVD's.

Did you try (or are you using) the old iMovie? iMovie HD might offer some options that could help (assuming you are not using that version right now)...if you are disregard this post.
