Read the review. Palm Pre has Flash right now. iPhone - Zero and probably will never have it. It also has spotlight type search... lots of iPhone missing stuff. Read the review for details.

"The browser? Another shock. Being based on webkit just like Mobile Safari it renders full pages beautifully and quickly yet also supports Flash without much slowdown (just how good must that new TI OMAP 3430 CPU be?) and the mercilessly copied pinch and double tap navigation gestures are arguably more responsive than on the iPhone. In addition, despite its smaller screen size, the manner in which the browser operates mostly without messy URL and status bars means it feels equally large as Apple's handset."

Yet another day in the competitive mobile smart phone market...

Gotta love competition!

The cellphone market is ultra-competitive. But, this is not Apple's style. They have never made reactionary computer products. In the computing category, Apple has never had the latest and greatest components, but has done very well despite this. But the computing market is not the cellphone market. I wonder if this will make Apple change their strategy? Many cellphone manufacturers churn out new phones every few months. Apple certainly doesn't do this. I wonder how long this business model will last?

Months?? I think there's a new Samsung phone every single week.

There's no real reason to push out a new model consistently, rather than just updating a good product. Well, except that I'm sure there are people out there who drop early January's Samsung phone for late January's Samsung phone...then drop that one for the all-new mid-February Samsung phone. So sack 'em for all they will spend.

While the iPhone could use a few upgrades, it's still selling just fine. Almost all of the real issues are software-related, so a new phone isn't a necessity.

No where in there does it say native Flash...it says it has a flash for the camera...

I hope this is a joke.

And no, it doesn't support Flash yet. Engadget and Gizmodo attempted to use YouTube and it said that it was missing the proper plug-ins.

Read the review. It's on page 2. I even quoted it on my post.

/disregard/This makes me feel a little better./disregard/

EDIT: @ Warbrain- can you provide links to back up your posts? Not trying to be hostile, just trying to figure out wether it can or can't support flash.

From the OP's article link...

"Being based on webkit just like Mobile Safari it renders full pages beautifully and quickly yet also supports Flash without much slowdown (just how good must that new TI OMAP 3430 CPU be?)"

Is that what you were looking for?

No, Warbrain said that the Pre doesn't support flash, whereas the OP did. I asked Warbrain to provide links to his sources so I can see who's right.
