Pre-order and AT&T discount?

Anyone know how you would go about pre ordering and getting your discount? I would be a new AT&T customer and qualify for a monthly discount? Or could I just pre order from Apple's online store and have AT&T take care of this later? Would love to hear from people who did this last year.

You are referring to a FAN account.

Its not likely you will find the 4S available through your special FAN site.

If that is the case, I would buy the phone through the regular ATT site then contact the FAN support and have the discount applied to your account.

Of course you may loose out on free activation and shipping. Its your call.
