Pre-Order iLife 09 or buy in-store

If I wanted iLife 09' as soon as possible, would it make more sense to pre-order (from apple, not amazon) or wait until the day it comes out and buy it in-store? Does anyone remember when they shipped last year relative to release date? Will you most likely get it on the day that it is released?

When Leopard came out, Apple sent all of the online orders the day before by overnight delivery so that people would have them on the day of release.
