I'm thinking from last year, most people had better luck getting a completed order with the Apple Store app on their iPhone. Seems like the Apple website was slow to refresh or just plain froze up.

Ordering two iPhones, so will be set up at 3am to order each from my current iPhones and the Apple Store app.

I'll have it setup on my computer, and have my phone nearby. I'll try to order on the computer first, if it fails, I'll use my phone.

I remember the iPhone 5 had some problems with Apple.com preordering.

I used my phone app to order and got through right away so I am going to give that a try first.

Well, I actually am going to try the ATT app first for my main line, then try to use Apple app for my second line.

Sorry, essentially duplicate thread!

Does anyone have any preference of preordering apple.com vs the Apple Store app?

It seems to me that I've always had better luck using the Apple Store app (iPad) because there is less page loads from clicking the phone you want to completing checkout. With each page load comes the chance of 404 errors while millions of people are trying to get their preorders in.

Sorry, duplicate thread!
