I plan on buying my first iPhone when they are available this fall. Either a 7S or the "8".

I have no smart phone now, but do have a prepaid plan with Verizon on my LG flip phone (which has nicely met my calling needs). I would like to purchase my new iPhone as a one-time purchase from Apple and then put it on a regular Verizon iPhone service plan.

My question is: Given the above situation am I able to pre-order the iPhone? If so, how do I proceed?

Thanks

You can either A) wait until preorders go live and sign up/preorder all at once or B) sign up on a postpaid plan now and keep using your current phone until preorders go live. All from the Verizon website.

I would recommend option B to help streamline the process and avoid any unnecessary back order delays.

Thanks for the response. Are you saying that I must order it from Verizon rather than directly from Apple? Sorry if this is a basic question, but I'm new at the iPhone thing.

Thanks
