Has anyone's upgrade date moved to Sept 9th yet?

I am assuming that preorders will start then.

This is probably relevant to your post. but when you order a phone through the iPhone upgrade program. How can you make sure that you will always get the new phone every year when it is released.

I’m sure if your upgrade date is a week or two, or maybe even a month, after the iPhone 7 is available the carrier will gladly waive any early upgrade charges to keep you as a customer (owing them money for a new phone for years to come) and giving you a warm fuzzy feeling of excellent customer service.

Of course if they don’t and you end up paying a fee, that is on you as an unnecessary impulse purchase tax. Capitalism empowers us to decide on how and when we will get screwed in some cases.
