Pre-ordered an iPhone, can I also trade-up?

I pre-ordered two iPhone 7's for my wife and I, and the pickup date is Friday. We're doing the iPhone Upgrade Program (so paying monthly through apple) - can I also "trade-up" our iPhone 6's to Apple for the $225 on the day that I pick up the phones?

Anyone have first-hand experience with this?
