I pre-ordered the iphone 6 128GB space grey thru verizon. I did the subsidized contract option. The expected delivery date is 9/19. For 2GB of data Verizon wants 90 dollars a month. I chose 3GB because at the time it said it was 60 dollars a month but that's a long story. Anyway my plan is when I get my iphone from Verizon is to take it to the AT&T store and port it over to them. I already spoke to AT&T and they can do the port and stuff for you. If there's an ETF you just pay AT&T I believe.

So Apparently AT&T is cheaper by a lot. 2GB for 65 a month vs 90 a month via Verizon. So in 10 months I'll make up for the difference of the ETF by switching to AT&T.

Can you think of any caveats with doing this? It seems like a solid plan to me.
