Pre-Ordering from AT&T vs Apple

From those that recall from last year, who had the best experience when it came to early and/or first day deliveries? Those that ordered from AT&T or those that ordered from Apple?

Stupid me, I had 2 screens open with the pre-order ready to go. Thought I went back to the Apple screen but must have been distracted because I completed my pre-order on the AT&T screen.

Some people are getting e-mails that their phone will be shipped in 14-21 days?

AT&T was the same as Apple last go 'round, with no rhyme or reason to predict the early deliveries.

Should be less drama with 4S.

I used the AT&T website to pre-order my 4 last year, and my wife's 4S yesterday. I got through easily on both attempts. Thumbs up to AT&T.

I ordered from AT&T last year and received my iPhone 4 the day before launch. So I don't think the where matters as much as when you preordered.
