Pre ordering iphone from US to Canada (iphone 8)

I will be in canada around beginning of October. Im wondering based on privious launches, can you order an iphone on launch day from US to Canada or i have to wait untill it is avialable on the canadian apple store?

Generally it always is. Either way you won't really have much choice anyway.

That is my question, I cannot order from the US apple website to canada? As maybe due to low quantities of iphone 8, canada website shipping will open later on..?
There will be asmall time window to place a preorder and i dont wanna waste any time...
