I've never pre-ordered an iPhone from Apple before. I have my eye on the 6 Plus (space gray, 16GB, contract-free on T-Mobile).

My pre-order time would be 2AM (central). If I'm staying up that late to order an expensive product, I'd like to have some information beforehand regarding the pre-order process.

So, what's all the information that Apple will want during the order process? Will they need personal carrier information?

Thanks.

For AT&T... last year when I pre-ordered a 5S

They basically asked for the phone number and SSN to verify. Then I had to choose to keep my plan.

After that, it was just the usual shipping/checkout type of crap. Payment/shipping and billing details

It was pretty quick. I was able to order a phone in under 10 minutes.

try ordering a 5s right now and see what it asks'.

For the T-Mobile iPhone 5s, it didn't seem to ask for any account information.

After adding it to the cart, it asked to have it shipped or picked up at an Apple Store. I chose the latter, and then it asked for payment information.

Hopefully things will be that easy for pre-ordering.
