Pre-paid sim cards - Where to get cheap minutes?

I went to a T-Mobile store today and got a $10 pre-paid sim card just to try out using my iPhone as... a phone.
Anyways, it cost me $10 for 10 freaking minutes...is there any where I can get cheaper minutes?

Same store, more money. Buy $100 worth of credit and it's 10 cents per minute and your minutes last for a year (even if you refill later with a smaller amount).
