pre program emails

I send out press mails every monday and it takes me 2 hours. I have to do it on mondays but don't get the time. Is there any way in mac mail I can write these mails on friday and program them to go out on the monday?

pretty new and it looks like you might have to have the mac awake and the mail app window open for it to do its thing?
